What’s in a name? What does Makyāg mean? Makyāg quite literally translates as makeup in the Arabic language. But for us, Makyāg is more than simply just makeup, it is a movement, a fresh and new look, a chance to glam yourself; without the guilt.

Our brand offers a wide range of cruelty free and vegan makeup products. From eyeshadow palettes to lip-glosses, blushes, brushes and much more. Our main reason for beginning our journey and the passion behind our products; was due to wanting to create a brand which produced skin friendly makeup, whilst keeping in mind our vegan and halal audiences. We’re working to become one of the world’s leading makeup companies, producing only the best quality products.

We opted for mineral makeup for a number of reasons. This type of makeup contains anti-irritation ingredients which are gentler on your skin, ultimately leading to fewer breakouts, compared to regular makeup items. It is also easier to achieve longer wear and prevent aging, provide better coverage and most importantly our formulas are suitable for all skin types. As our products are non-comedogenic, they won’t clog your pores up! Due to the lack of oils and waxes present, once on, our makeup stays put.

My father has been my biggest supporter since I started my whole journey. Together we have embarked on this new venture with the intention of providing vegan & halal makeup to all races, genders and ages, worldwide.
